NEW POSTS UP (finally)

I finally got to looking at, and editing, the posts that for some reason, I saved to "DRAFT".  They are in order of time written, so the "OOPS" post is in the middle.  Sorry.

BLOGGERS IN THE NEWS

Two bloggers I've heard of, and occasionally read, have made the news. They were mentioned in a news article "A blog for every political bent".

Wonkette and Instapundit were both mentioned.

Now, I don't comment on politics, but these two do, among other things.

I think it is kind of cool they made the papers.

SOME COOL SITES

Not too much to say today. Actually a lot, but I really don't have the time. So I thought I would share some cool sites I am hitting daily.

First, there is I Hate My Wife. He doesn't really. But it is a funny site. You may want to go back a while and pick up some history so you understand what is happening. It reads like a soap opera, but funnier.

Next is Jumbo Joke. This is a joke site by the author of the "This Is True" and "Heroic Stories". Old but still lethal jokes with new ones added in.

Lastly, a picture site, [daily dose of imagery] . This guy gets some of the coolest pictures. Worth a look.

WORTH A TRY

Venomous Kate is offering a chance to link to her slinks. She is doing the "Shameless Link Whoring" thing again.

It is interesting to see who hits the links on a thing like this. Yes, I know, it is shameless to capture the traffic from someone else. But it also a neat way for others to hook up to a chance to get traffic and maybe get some additional worthwhile readers.

Not that everybody WANTS that kind of exposure, but it is one way of getting others familiar with your stuff.

I would say, "what could it hurt", but you never know. Let's live a little for a moment.

This may even be a good way to get some additional ideas for my stories. Not that I ever lack good ideas, but like I've said before, I like a challenge.

So, I'm going to "whore" and see what happens. Wish me luck.
