TRUCK GOT NEW SHOES

Remember when I mentioned I had to get a new battery here?  I forgot to say, that was the original battery.  Last time it was in the shop, the charging system was checked and the battery was just fine.  Apparently, when they go, they go.

But...

THE BEST LAID PLANS...

We all know how that saying ends.  And, for this trip, it held true.

I guess I could have called it "MURPHY RIDES AGAIN".  Either works.

In preparation for our trip out of town a bit back, Dudette and I decided to invest in a GPS system.  I mentioned it here.

After finally getting into the airport, and off the plane, we still had to get to our rental car and head for the hotel.  Judging from the travel paperwork, the trip would take close to an hour.

MORE ON THAT TRIP

First, I was "told" to unzip the bag.  No idea why they wanted it opened, but they had ALL of us in line open our bags.  Not all the way, just have them ready for them to just lift the covers.  Maybe it was to speed things up if need be.  Dunno.

Anyway...

I am out of here.

I will be gone for the next couple days for a training class out of town.

ROAD TRIP

Final approval came through on some training.  I will be traveling to the Great Lakes region soon.
