Spoke with the person in charge of the maintenance of the "common area". Very courteous. They listened to what I had to say, apologized, and said it would be taken care of. Of course the whole issue of seasonal help got brought up, but I anticipated that one. But it was bought up more as a "compounding issue", not a root cause.
I hung up feeling much better about the whole affair. Especially when I was told to "please call if you have any more problems so we can get them resolved quickly."
I know, we ALL hear that kind of response to a problem. This had a different feel to it though. I think it was truly meant. We'll see.
