Just so those concerned know, Casa Wichi survived, as did Dudette, CK and a friend.
The tornado that hit town jogged East before hitting the metro area. Which is fine with me as the earlier track had it centered to hit our area. Instead, it followed almost the same track the tornado in '91 took. And, if memory serves me, that one was an EF5, and this was an EF3 (estimated). Not that it makes the people affected by it feel much better. A destroyed home is still destroyed.
Several areas were still closed even to residents earlier today. I believe it will take a while for the clean up to get done. CC and HH have been working at the Red Cross through out the whole event. I'm thinking that once CC gets some much needed sleep, a post will go up about it.
Weather happens. (like it or not)
Thanks for the update. CC had emailed earlier that they were okay; figured you guys were too (else she would have mentioned it), but nice to know for sure!

I was once a teeny bit careless in a posting; thus, no more postings on the subject of our volunteer endeavors. Keeps me from doing somethin' (more)stupid.
