it's getting there. S-L-O-W-L-Y!
So far, I've almost doubled my starting speed. Not that this should impress anyone. Since I've been pounding away in a completely disorganized, scatter-shot fashion for so long, being put to a disciplined program is a bit painful. And I DO mean painful.
It has been a fun,but crampy, time making my fingers go where they are supposed to go. And, in keeping to the program (mostly), I am making an effort to do all my typing without looking at the keyboard.
This is causing a bit of humor and/or irritation. When my fingers and brain disagree with what should be happening, I tend to type some pretty weird stuff. That's where the "and/or" stuff comes into play, depending on my mood and the amount of cramping going on in my fingers.
Still, I'm improving all the time, so that is a positive thing. I haven't been able to "feel type" since High School. I figure it will take me a couple months to get close to my "high speed". I doubt I'll ever get back to that speed, but it has to get better.
Learning happens.
you never know dude, when your brain and fingers don't work together, you might find yourself predicting the future!
