Having ridden a motorcycle before, I tend to pay attention to fellow riders. Road courtesy and respect, that sort of thing. Come Spring, I tend to be even MORE attentive for riders.
Bogie posted on the new ride she got. Riders are out there. LOOK for them. One of them may even be a friend or relative.
And when you're looking...
you never know what you'll see.
Dudette and I were on the road, stopped at a light. Across from us, in the outside lane was a nice bike, driver and passenger out for a ride. When their light turned green, the driver "putt-putted" s-l-o-w-l-y from the line, leaning a little over the tank. The car next to them moved right along.
I've seen some quirky driving, but this caught my attention. The driver almost had to keep his feet on the ground to maintain balance as he got up to speed. Even rookie drivers aren't that bad. Then, as they passed, I got a GOOD look at the passenger.
The struts, mounts, shocks, rims and spokes must have all been maxed out trying to support the rear fender pad on that ride. Now I understood why the driver was leaning forward and taking off so slowly. One false twist of the throttle and the bike would have flipped over backward.
Some days I am amazed AND amused.
Whoever they were,... happy riding.
"WOW!" happens.
dude, are you trying to tell us the bike was bottom heavy?!

My thought was maybe the rider(s) were bottom heavy not the bike.

Oh my - that does not give me a mental image that I wanted to think about!

Lets just say the passenger weighed in close to the bike. And remember, crack kills. hehehe
If I gotta explain it, ya wouldn't get it.
