Well, after the storm that kept us company all day yesterday started, the weather guessers boosted their predictions upward.  They said 6 - 8 inches after waffling all day with anywheres from 3 on up.

Some of the reports I listened to during the day made me shake my head.  They were saying...

MOVIE STAR

Dudette's work did some filming for a "new hire orientation" bit.  It is also to be used during sales meetings, and showing to prospective clients.  Part of the program shows her and her boss "working on a project".

She is now known as "Movie Star Dudette" at work.  She isn't taking to it very well.

Those people will pay.  Trust me.

And don't even ask for an autograph.

Humor happens.

AGAIN?

We still have ice on the ground from last weekends storm.  Most roads are clear enough to navigate without killing yourself, or any one else.

And the weather report has us getting more snow this weekend.  Depending on the you listen to, the snow should start tonight or first thing in the morning and carry on all day and into Sunday.  And again, depending who you listen to, we are supposed to get between 3 and 8 inches.  (some say 3 - 5, others are saying 5 - 8)

Out here, you just wait and see what happens.  "Psychotic Hot-Line" has a better batting average than our weather guessers.

WOW! WHAT A DEAL

This week, CK asked for a big-ish kind of favor.  We, of course, raised our eyebrows and told her it would cost her.

She immediately brightened up and made the following offer to clear the slate.

Chew would mow the lawn, and she would water the trees and stuff...

KIND OF WHITE OUTSIDE

Well, at last count, we ended up getting a couple inches of mostly ice and sleet.  Very little snow hit that we could measure.  That should make the commute to work a real treat in the morning.  Every fool that forgot how to drive will hit that slick stuff and act like it should react like dry pavement.

Dudette and I are heading out early to avoid the rush.  We'd both like to make it to work before most of the world finishes their second cup of coffee.

Be my luck, I'd get hit in the parking lot.

Drivers happen.

OH, THE WEATHER OUTSIDE IS

NOT delightful.  It is positively yucky.

GAMES

The game I talked about here came in this week as promised.  It is now in my possession.  And while there, another game that had my attention was on a "Managers Special" sale for about a third the regular price.  Picked it up as well.  Not bad considering the "Limited Collectors Edition" was less than the regular game (which was on sale also).  Normally it was almost $50, and I got it for under $20.

WHAT A DIZZY WEEK

Most times, I don't mention work here.  Today I am.  It has been a dizzy week.

With the seasonal flux in orders, production, personnel, inventory, and the seasonal shift in product being built, it has just been nuts.
