FLICKERING FURNACE

While off during the holidays, I noticed the furnace acting up.  It's been doing it on and off since sometime last season.  Nothing I could prove or put my finger on though.

This time, its peculiarities were become more pronounced and annoying.

GET TOGETHER

Tomorrow, we are having CK and Chew over for Christmas.  Nothing too fancy.  Some breakfast cinnamon rolls, opening presents, then hanging out and having an early dinner.

Dinner isn't too fancy either.  Light holiday fare of turkey, rolls, mashed potatoes, cranberry jelly and maybe some green beans.  Yeah, like you bought that "maybe" part of the green beans.

I'll let you know how things turned out if I am still awake enough to post after eating.

LUMPS OF COAL

Dudette and I stopped by to visit Cop Car and HH today.  We were dropping off Christmas presents from our household, and from Bogie.

While there, Cop Car graced us with lumps of coal.  Very cool treat, courtesy of Buffy to Cop Car.

SPEAKING OF CAROLS

Do you listen to carols and have one that makes you choke up and teary?

Don't lie now.

Santa can see you.  You'll get a lump of coal.

Sniffles happen.

ONCE AGAIN

I ask myself, what else can go wrong?  Then I get an answer.

I was feeling a bit better today and decided to try cleaning the house.  Something I could do, and not be out and about making others ill.  And, I could take my sweet time and as many breaks as I needed when I fizzled out.  Not a bad deal there.

So, to set the mood, I popped a CD in for some "tunes to clean by".

PACKING PEANUTS

WHAT is with the packing peanuts?  I have a trash bag full of them now.  Couldn't you have used crumpled up 1's for cushion?  I'd even settle for 5's.  I'm not picky.

And the guilty know who they are.

STILL MORE LIGHTS

I mentioned here about the lights at our neighbors house (I'll let you follow the other links in that one back to the original).  Well, they've added to them.

They now have a sleigh on the other side of the driveway to compliment the original reindeer in front.  Plus, in an ornamental "well" in the yard, they added poinsettias.  AND, hung lights from them as well.
