I posted pictures of Killer on the side bar and talked about CK's new addition here. She takes that silly kitten everywhere.
Anyways, she stopped over for a visit Friday night. Killer was perched on her shoulder. She had a good time visiting. We put Killer out in the grass a few times. Being primarily a house kitten, the grass messed with him. A jet passed over head and Killer bristled up at the noise. As the jet passed, he settled down. I'm guessing he figured he scared the plane away and took pride in it.
Since CK's visit interrupted a movie, she decided she would watch the last little bit of it with us. To try and keep me and my allergies safe from the hair, odor, and dander of the cat, they locked Killer up in Dudettes office. He was not pleased being excluded from the festivities and carried on about the whole thing.
CK shook her head and said he does this every time he gets left out. He'll get over it after a couple rounds and then settle down. Seemed to work out that way.
We finished the movie and started helping CK get her stuff ready so she could leave. Ck and I were out in the garage with some of her stuff when Dudette came out carrying Killer.
"We have a problem. Blood, and lots of it."
Ck and I took one look at Killer and saw his tail was a mess.
Apparently while sulking and carrying on in the office over being left out of the fun, he bounced all over the furniture in there. One of the things he bounced on was the paper shredder; it's automatic. And his tail was small enough to get inside. Three guesses what happened next. And the first two don't count.
Off to the emergency vets place at 10 o'clock at night. While CK and Dudette were taking care of Killer, I cleaned up the scene of the crime. I think the boys from CSI would have loved the scene. I'll leave it at that.
Killer is going to live, though a few inches shorter in length. I am putting up new pictures of him in his state of misery.
Have you ever seen a kitten on pain killers? Fun-ny! in a demented way.
Look for "Killer Clobbered" in the side bar.
Docking happens.
oh no! poor thing.if it wasnt actually true it would be quite funny.

That is the saddest thing I've seen in ages. So who is feeling the guiltiest for not checking on that sweet kitten while she was crying?

Mainly Dudette and me. I think I heard him crying when it happened and Dudette feels badly because it was her shredder. But he his fine now. He is terrorizing the two big cats so he must be feeling better!

Ouchie, Ouchie! Poor kittie. Fortunately they get over these things faster than we get over our guilt!
