I MADE A PROMISE...

Unless you've been hiding under a rock, you've no doubt heard that Rob "Acidman" Smith passed away a month ago.

That said, I promised I would post about him from my point of view.

WHAT'S BEEN HAPPENING (SHORT VERSION)

Since no one yelled, wanting to know what I've been doing, other than still breathing, I'll give you an idea.

YUP, STILL HERE

Even though a few concerned folk have taken the time to e-mail me concerning my health, I have to say; Yup, still here.

I know I've been a bit on the scarce side, but I have been around.  Mostly lurking though.  And even that has been at a minimum.

CK'S NEW PUTER

The Kids old computer has been dying a slow death for a while now.  So, as a present toward various Holidays and such, we got her a new one.

The one we ordered showed up in pretty quick time a couple weeks back.

MEET KILLER

CK and Chew have a new addition to their household.  And I thought you might want to meet Killer, the new kitty.  So I will add some pictures to the side bar for a better look at the puffball.

ANOTHER THEATRE DATE TOMORROW

The next Theatre is tomorrow night.  And I still haven't talked about "The Full Monty".  Lets fix that.  But in a condensed version.

CIVICS III (catching up)

We've all seen court rooms on TV (well, most of us anyways).  It is still another thing to actually be in one.  The one we were in, (after about 5 elevator loads to get us up there,) was much smaller than I would have imagined, yet still had an imposing air to it.  Not that it was highly ornate, or pretentious, just the feel of importance.  Business got done here.

JUST HOW CRAZY IS IT?

I can tell you that 8 - 9 hours a day, 7 days a week is very draining.  Add in a shift change, a whole different group of folk to get used to, a new routine, and a major holiday that you are told you are going to work through, and it stops being draining.

It just gets plain crazy.
