I PROMISE

to get around and finish my CIVIC's post and to post about the theater.  Been a bit on the crazy and weird side, with work hours and long strings of days.  Looks like it might stay strange for a while.

NOW...THAT'S A COMPLIMENT

The kids were over the other night keeping Dudette company.  After a bit of carrying on, Chew dropped a line on Dudette.

"You know?  You're not like a mother-in-law.  You're more like a really cool aunt."

Now...THAT'S a compliment.  One of a highest regard.

Being cool happens.

QUIET DAY

Well.....I WAS going to put some stuff down today for the fun and adventure of everyone.  Like maybe finish the "Civic's" postings.  And comment on the theater last night.

Instead, I spent some quality time with Dudette before she and I go to work.  Yeah, we are both working today.  She needs to get a head start on stuff for tomorrow, and I am scheduled to work.

My work schedule is going to include a bunch of extra hours during the day with weekends included.  That time of year again.  Plus, with all the issues we had with parts supplies earlier, we are WAY behind.

But I hope to get stuff up here tonight.  So stay tuned.

OFF TO THEATER

If you don't reach me tonight, it is because the start of another Music Theater is upon us.

For tonight's entertainment, The Full Monty.  Should be fun.  The kids have all ready seen it and said it was a riot.

'Nuff said.

CIVICS II

Approximately 35 of us ended up in the Jury Room for the preliminaries.  Having been checked in (yet again), we were told where the coffee and such could be found, including pamphlets about the jury duty.  Once everyone settled in, we were shown a brief video about jury duty and what we could expect.

After the video, the clerk took the podium and continued.

CIVIC MINDED DUTY

I got my summons for jury duty last week.  Having never served, I was a touch nervous about the whole thing.  Other people at work were telling me about the times they served and how easy it was.  Some even called it boring.  Wonderful.
