After having so little to talk about for a long time, this weekend gave me a bunch of stuff.

THAT PESKY LANGUAGE TEST

Alright, I finally got around to taking that silly language test.  I can't say what it says about me though.  But here are the results:

I know I haven't posted anything in a long time.  Mostly, it's been not having all that much to talk about.  Yeah, stuff has been happening, but with the schedules being weird and a bit of timing, I just haven't gotten to put much stuff up.

That goes out to Dudette.  Been another year celebrated.  Getting to the point where one of us has to take off a shoe to count the years.  (if I gotta 'splain it Lucy, you won't get it.)

A LITTLE EXPLAINATION

When I get some weird "junk" comments, if it is obviously "pork shoulders and ham" (if I gotta explain that one, you shouldn't be here), I delete it and ban the IP.

When it is rude of just plain goofy stuff, I love to rewrite the comment.  I then change the authors name, usually dink with their e-mail address, AND ban their IP.

So, if you run across some offensive "comment", give it a day or two and see what it looks like then.  If it is still "offensive", I may have missed it.

If I did, gimme a shout and let me know.  I don't really mind some stuff.  If I can't play with it and make it funny or acceptable, I'll blow it away.

I've been thinking about adding a sidebar listing of the gunk I've banned so others can see "who", "why", and the offending IP.  Think that would get me in trouble, or yelled at?  I may have to try it and find out.

Confusion happens.

Dudette and I were talking earlier today.  After answering a question, I realized I ran two sentences together, and somehow made no discernible break between them.

*How do you produce bad punctuation when talking?*

I caught it and commented on it.

DID YOU EVER TEST DRIVE A PURSE?

Dudette went looking for a new purse not too long ago.  She took with her a well known authority on the subject.  And the hunt began.

Once properly set up in the realm of purse stalking, the hunt began.  One after another were tossed to the wayside.  This one is too small.  This one, too big.  Too dowdy, too flashy, too GROSS, OH. MY. GOD.  Mygreatgrandmotherwouldn'tbe - BURIED - withthatthing!

Yet, the hunt continued.

EARLY NIGHT

I had to work tonight.  Not too much fun.  Not a bad night, just the timing stunk.

Earlier this week I asked Dudette to see if the kids would like to get together and go do something since they had the day off.  Then I find out we were working.  Oh, bother.

Since getting home, it has been raining nonstop.  Hard rain!  I mean, HARD rain.  Lightning and thunder just going at it.  A couple times it got so noisy I had to go look to see how it was doing outside.
