DEVIL RAT

Devil Rat went to the big wheel in the sky early Wednesday morning.

When I got home from work, Rat was parked in the corner of his cage.  Silly thing was known for crazy antics and doing, well...just plain stupid stuff.

A FRIEND'S LOSS

A woman I've known since moving here, lost her mother Monday night.

Rita had a stroke Saturday night and came home from the hospital early Monday.  Monday night she was gone.  She never regained consciousness.

WEEKEND OFF

We managed to hit our goals at work so we were rewarded with the weekend off.  And now that we are back on a regular track, it looks like the overtime will be cut out for a while.  Which will be good for most of us as the rest will do us some good.  (Though I am sure there will still be those that gripe about the loss of the extra money.)

Anyways,

A PLEASANT SUNDAY

Having Sunday off from work was a nice, pleasant happening.  Just bumming around the house and enjoying some football.  Of course other stuff got done, but to not rush out to work made it much more enjoyable.

And spending some quality time with Dudette was nice as well.  The icing on the cake, so to speak.

I AIN'T DEAD YET...

though it is getting harder to convince myself.  I believe they are trying to do me in.  In the short version, got locked up with three cells this week to do checks on.  Not a bad number.

However, one group of product, I haven't looked at in over 4 years.  The other, I have had a whooping total of 10 hours exposure to previously.  And I am there as the expert to check them out.  Neither cell is a simple product either.

Lets just say there has been some stress involved.

BEEN A LONG WEEK ALREADY

I put this under "nonsense" as it contains a little bit of everything from the week so far; personal, work, home, idiots, happenings...You get the picture.

Good...now show it to me.  Things are a bit fuzzy at the moment.

And...away we go.

AND A NEW YEAR BEGINS

One would think that with a week off before heading back to the grind, I would have been a bit more chatty on the site.  Not so.

For the most part, I just took care of stuff around the house and caught up on a lot of blogs.  With going back to work and having my schedule settle back down, I should be on more often.
