Cop Car sent a challange to both Bogie and me. It is a MEME. Based on this post. (what the hell is a "meme" anyway?)
Oh, well. On with it...
The MEME:
1. You're stuck inside Fahrenheit 451. Which book do you want to be?
The one I just ordered, "Jeremy Case" by Gene Deweese. After thirty years, I still remember the title and author. And, I could probably give a fairly good "telling" of the book despite the fact that I read it only once.
2. Have you ever had a crush on a fictional character? Probably. I've read about so many of them, that choosing one would be impossible. 3. The last book you bought was...? "Myth-ion Improbable", by Robert Asprin. (Part of a LONG series) 4. The last book you read was...? *see question #4. I am not going to list every one of them. But there is Myth-ion Improbable, E.A. Poe's Complete Unabridged Works, Jerlayne, The Bug Wars...all with book marks in them. Not to mention numerous magazines. 5. What are you currently reading? Whoa! Lets see, can't give a lot of specifics like Cop Car, but...any unabridged dictionary. I love to read about words. 6. Five books you would take to a deserted island... The complete works of E A Poe (big surprise) The triple trilogy of "Thomas Covenant, The Unbeliever" (Stephan R. Donaldson) If you ever feel like life sucks, read these. The main characters life will make yours look like nirvana. But a great read. Once immersed, you are right there with the character. (I know, this is more than one book. But, it is one LONG story.) A good grammar book. Cause my grammar lacks severely. Can't you tell? I can't think of another book right off hand, so I am going to leave it at this. 7. Who are you passing this stick on to and why? Reading happens.
I'll bequeth you my vinyl recording of "The Raven" and my "Complete Works of".

Cheater! A trilogy counts as 3 books, not one, so a triple trilogy counts as (let's see, 3 x 3, carry the one, no, there isn't a one to carry, carry the 3? Nope, hmm, this new math confuses me). Ah, just forget it, wish I had thought of doing that myself!

Me! Me! Me! If we're vying for credit for THINKing about counting a series as one book, I claim credit for the encyclopaedia that I THOUGHT about. I decided that would be cheating. (I could throw a *flash**bang* in here, but I, too, am trying to get along with people today!)
