Dudette upgraded her PDA to a newer model. She is now the proud owner of a Tungsten T5. Neat little gizmo.
Of course, that means she was mothballing her old CLIE. The thought hit her to will it to me. That works.
So, this morning after she got done playing with hers and getting it all set up, we started on setting the CLIE (pronounced Klee- *hard* A) for me.
Let me tell you, those little pieces of electronic gee-whiz are COOL. It didn't take all that much time and it is now ready to rock and roll. And the coolest part of it was transferring the address book over to the CLIE by IR. She brought hers up, hit the necessary transfer buttons and "ZIP", all the addresses, phone numbers and notes were shipped right over and installed. Twice.
"TWICE?" Yup, twice. Seems one of us hit a wrong button and the thing went twice. No problem, she deleted the redundant entries in no time.
I now have a new toy to play with. Not as pretty, or as cool, as hers, but hey. It's still a new toy. And I plan on having fun with it.
So there.
Toys happen.
