MOVIE TIME

I plan on taking Dudette out tonight for a movie.  The last few times I promised her a show, we ended up missing the opportunity.

Shame on me, huh?

Tonight it will happen.  And, it should be fun.  We will be checking out a comedy of sorts.

Dates happen.

TECHNOLOGY IS "SO" COOL!

Dudette upgraded her PDA to a newer model.  She is now the proud owner of a Tungsten T5.  Neat little gizmo.

PUT ON MY SAFARI HAT AND WENT HUNTING

I was talking to the neighbor the other day and he informed me he had termites.

For a home owner, that is like saying your home has cancer.  Or some other wasting disease.

HOW TO "DEEP SIX" A PET FISH

I put this under "ponderings" because, well, that is what it made me do.  For about...yeah, that long.

IT CAUSED ME TO GIGGLE

Cop Car mentioned to Dudette that she would like a wrist corsage.  She was afraid a standard pin-on would put too much weight on the flimsy fabric of her outfit.

I started to grin at that point.

COOL IDEA

Ck and Chew have a novel idea for their wedding.  For all the utensils used at a wedding, they are borrowing stuff from all the families.  That way, every family has some little part of their celebration.

I think it is a romantic idea and gesture.  Like a good omen.

Funny how all the families involved are still together.  And, they didn't chose them that way.  It just worked out that way.

We come from weird families.

Strangeness happens.

THE WINEFEST

The Midwest Winefest was a great success.  I didn't get to see all that much of it though.  After helping getting things ready and going, I went back to the staging area to get it organized.

And the saga began...

WALK ABOUT AND WINEFEST TIME AGAIN

It is, once again, time for the Midwest Winefest.  To start it off, the "Walk About" happened on Thursday.

TREES AND TRAFFIC

There was a sale at one of our "Home Improvement" stores.  They had "laceleaf Japanese Maples" for sale.  2 gallon tree for $32  (no comments about 'what is a two-gallon tree?')

So I went to buy one for the small area in front of the porch.
