GOOD TIME TONIGHT

The day was just routine.  Nothing much out of the ordinary.

But tonight, we all had a good time just talking and laughing at the dinner table.  Nothing in particular, just goofing around.

It was good.

GETTING TO THAT TIME OF YEAR

I did the basic check overs on the mower and trimmer today.  Pulled the plugs and got them started for the first time in preparation for the up coming "LAWN SEASON".  Don't you just love cutting the grass and having your allergies go crazy?

SOMETIMES YOU JUST GOTTA LOVE IT

(I started this on Monday night and never got it finished.  So when you read it, pretend it is Monday and it will make sense.)

At work, I carry a "clip" knife, one of those that can clip onto a belt or pocket.  I use it for opening boxes and stuff.

One of our Yay-Hoo's at work likes to borrow it every time he needs to open something.  And he has no respect for a person's "bubble".

GOTTA QUIT WAITING FOR THE WEEKENDS

I gotta quit waiting for the weekends to post.  First of all, my traffic goes out the window when I wait so long ( not that I really care about the traffic.  But when I get the updates and see the numbers drop at terminal velocity, it is a little upsetting).

My hours at work have been a bit squirrely lately and I have been busy doing other stuff.  And I am not done getting ready for the spring and summer.

EASTER LUNCH

Dudette and I had lunch today with Cop Car and HH.  HH made reservations for us to sit down at a nice place at noon today.  Good thing we had the reservations, the place was packed.

Conversation was good and the variety of food was enough to keep anyone of us from getting bored.  The desserts were a better choice though, they had a lot of good ones.  I am still full, so dinner is out for me tonight.

CK and Chew weren't able to make it, both had to work.  Their loss.  It was good.

Side note...CK starts a new job this week.  She is putting her CNA to use and is going to work at a nursing home.

Good for her.

Lunch happens.

COMPUTER ISSUES

Over the last couple weeks, my anti-spam, anti-virus, and firewall protection has been giving me fits.

It wants me to update, then tells me it couldn't.   Hmmmphh!

NEWS BROUGHT ABOUT ACTION

In light of the current news coverage and all the "dog and pony show" antics of the people.  It got Dudette and I thinking about some old business.

NASTY "PORK SHOULDERS AND HAM"

Just got done hammering a bunch of the nasty stuff off the site.

I just cleaned up a bunch of their droppings from my comments.  How can some group of idiots that love a particular card game be so irritating?

The way they try to advertise it, you'd think they would be too busy PLAYING it.  But no, they need to tie up my resources pushing their past-time.  I think I'd rather be bothered about the fear of "four hours, contact a doctor...".

Then again, maybe not.  But what is with the "FOUR HOUR" bit?  Hell, I call that a good start.  :^)

SPOTTY POSTING AND MY TREES

In case you haven't noticed, posting has been spotty for the last couple weeks.  Even my "hit" counter has been grumpy...go figure.

And to make matters a little more "airy", I removed several of the posts that have happened.  As promised.

In light of the current circumstances, I have been looking (on-line) at taking some classes as a kind of, "head start".  The classes won't be on line, but the search has been.
