THE WEATHER IS NEVER BORING

Earlier this week the weather was gorgeous.  The day time temps were in the upper 50's to lower 60's.  At night they stayed within reason.

Thursday, they talked about it being colder, with a chance of winter weather early Friday, then again Friday evening.

BEEN HIDING

I haven't posted much this past week.  I meant to get back to the daily stuff but, well, things happen.

I'll have to fill you in later.  It's not anything tragic, so don't get all wound up.  Just kept me busy and I didn't get a chance to sit down and post about it.

I will though.

CRAZY DRIVERS

First of all, this is not gender bashing, it just happens that these two twits happen to be female.  I am an equal opportunity griper.

Idiot #1: Leaving work today, a driver cut me off at the drive from Corporate.  They lead me down the road to the "T" intersection.  This road is WIDE.  It was made to handle tractor trailer traffic.

WANT A LITTLE DIRT?

Really!  Our neighbor got a load of dirt to fill in around his house.  They are selling it and he wanted to fill in the low spots.

He ordered 6 tons of black sandy loam.  They dumped it in his drive, and he went to town.

GARBAGE CAN LIDS AND OTHER CHILDHOOD MEMORIES

Earlier today, Dudette and I were talking about various odds and ends.  For whatever reason it happens, the conversation took a number of left turns, as they are want to do.

The topic of bloggers came up...

WHAT A WEEK

Not that the title actually says that the week has been busy.  It's been more...ummm...disconnected.  (no, no issues with the cable or power)  Just that I couldn't seem to connect with anything to talk about.  Even though stuff did happen.

Ever have that happen to you?  (oh, boy.  now my comments will get flooded with "Oh, Yeah.  Happens all the time" type stuff.)

RANDOM GARBAGE

This is just random garbage that struck me as funny.  Some may feel it's crude in some way.  But hey!  I don't write it, just report it.

LOOKS LIKE A WAR ZONE

Now that the storm is last weeks memory, the clean up is yet to really begin.  Driving home every day I pass by mounds of piled up tree branches and limbs, most piles are car sized or larger.  Almost every house has a pile by the curb.

Most of the cities are saying it would be a couple weeks before removal would be done as trees and debris is still being collected and cut up.

BACK TO THE GRIND

Went to work today.  *yeah!  throws confetti*  People are still missing due to the weather.  Trying to get power back and trees cleared.  Not to mention dealing with water issues due to frozen pipes and non-functioning sump-pumps.

They let us know that, parts being available and support groups being able to support us, we will probably work Saturday.
