Went shopping with Dudette today. While at Sam's club, we noticed the Christmas music was playing a REALLY slow version of something. We joked about them piping in the "Christmas Dirge". We even teased the help, asking if they could play some livelier music.
That got us to laughing about our wedding music. Those wo were there will agree that, though the music was nice, it would have sounded more appropriate at a funeral.
We decided that that was why we have lasted for as long as we have. We had fair warning that it was all over from the very start.
We find the strangest things funny. I like that.
There's help at Sam's? Where? The only thing approaching help that I can find always wants me to try some sort of food to try to sucker me out of buying 20 lbs of something I will never end up making.
Okay, I am too harsh, there is that helpful person at the "in" door making sure I am a member, and another person at the "out" door to count my items and make sure nobody snuck anything into my cart while I wasn't looking.

Well, there is also the people at the check oout registers. I always find someone to help me if I need it. Maybe our store is a higher volume store.

Ya think? Since Wichita has a larger population than our 3 largest cities combined, that is probably a safe assumption!

Ya never know. Population doesn't mean "popular". But it does kind of throw throw the curve off a little, doesn't it?
