Dudette and CK were talking this morning. The discussion centered around the holiday season. In particular, the Christmas music.
We always enjoy listening to various Christmas music, (just not before Thanksgiving. WAY TOO soon.).
With various songs being mentioned, it never fails that the "Carol Of Bells" comes up. It is one of our favorites. Many different renditions have been recorded over the years and it seems like it is our sworn purpose in life to find, and own, every version.
During that part of the conversation, CK says she even likes the version by the "Streetcleaner group".
Now, who the heck is the "Streetcleaner group"?
It took a minute, but Dudette finally figured out she was talking about "Mannheim Steamroller". Chip Davis must have 5 cd's out of Christmas music and that is one of the songs covered on I believe at least two of them.
"Streetcleaner group" indeed.
