I don't usually write about things political, but I found a site talking about essays on politics. I took a gander to see what was up as there is a competition on the essays and people get to vote on them. If this is your cup of tea, then go here . the two top entries are Dean's World , with "The New Uncle Wiggle Wings" and Spiced Sass with Approaching Iran .

As I said, I'm not much for political stuff but, both of these entries intrigued me. "Approaching Iran", "I" felt was more of an incentive to look at , and study the history of, this country to help people get a better understanding of where they came from and where they are now. Not so much of a political bent, though there is that included, but more of an educational driver. Before you throw stones, let's look at the house we are throwing them at. It might not stop us from throwing the stones, but it may help us aim at the REAL target.
"Uncle Wiggle Wings" by Dean, is a story I've heard before. It bore being retold, in my opinion. Every military group has been given it's fair share of harrassment and dissent. I grew up around people that fought, and survived WWII, some in my family. Before I carry on, I would like to say, WAR is NEVER pretty. It is, however, sometimes necessary. And great and brave things happen on both sides. That is what "Uncle Wiggle Wings" is about. I found it worth reading.
Wichi Dude, thanks for your support in my Challenge! Glad you found the posts interesting.
