I know, sounds weird, but it's not. I've been not here not just from being busy (not bad, but yep, busy), but from a nagging bout with sciatica. If I sit for more than a couple minutes, pain shoots down my leg and it cramps up badly. It is getting better though (obviously as I'm getting this posted).
Gimme another week or so and I should be back up to speed.
The newer version? There is a line used in it when the Friar, delivering beer for the execution, and a leper (Robin in disguise) sneak inside the wall of the castle. Dudette (for reasons unknown now, but made sense at the time) used it on me early this morning. Only SHE said,...
I casually mentioned "House Work" and the roof in this post. I failed to mention we planned on having other work done soon as well (could have sworn I mentioned it somewhere, but can't find it).
After saying I was back, we ran into a slight problem, the washer died on the 11th of January. A lot of spare time and energy is going into running to a laundromat to take care of clothing needs and...
Apparently, I didn't take any pictures of the finished product. Hence, I haven't posted any...yet. But I will.
However, I will grace you with an irritating turn of events about it. If I had to put a title up, it would be something along the lines of, "I should have been in politics".
Earlier this summer, the kids had an issue with their AC. It got warm and they turned it on and it kept popping the breaker. So they called me for help.
Years ago, we bought a good lawn mower. The old ones (from a major chain that I won't mention then to say I Snears at them) just didn't hold up. The first one died of old age (inherited from a previous owner) at 10 years old. And the second one, had the engine rebuilt at least once, and then replaced, after the Service center said it was just a bad engine. The "new" engine fared no better. Total, that mower lasted around 5 years before we gave up on it.
