Walking into an establishment recently, there was a mat just inside the door.

In a parking area I was in, there was a big, red, truck trailer.  Couldn't miss it if you wanted to.  On the side of the truck was printed "TOTAL JOB SATISFACTION: JUST 10 FEET AHEAD".

WHAT YOU SEE WHILE DRIVING

We all know and have heard/shared our favorite "idiot driver" stories.  Guys with electric razors, shaving.  Women putting on make-up and using the rear-view mirror.  And of course, cell phone use while driving.  And one person, I watched read a book while they were flashing down the road.  I have another to add to my list.

CAR DOOR LOCKS

Yes.  I HAVE spoken to some people that set me straight.  Or straighter, that is.

Apparently, there were a few car made that had a really dysfunctional locking mechanism that would not unlock a door when you pulled on the handle.  For some scary reason, none of the folk I talked to could tell me if such systems are still in production.

NOW I have something else to check on next time I look at a new vehicle.
