MONTY PYTHON'S HOLY GRAIL

A couple years ago, Dudette and CK bought Monty Python's "Holy Grail" as a present for me. We opened it up and watched it this weekend. It has been forever since I last watched it. Dudette saw it years ago but didn't remember any of it.

Now, I am a Monty Python fan so this was good for me. Dudette's taste in comedy has changed over the years and she enjoyed it a lot more than she did the first time. The humor wasn't lost to her this time around.

Next, I'm going to get Monty Python's new 2CD set of "The Meaning of Life". Re-released with a lot of new materials.

LOST ANOTHER ONE

Another great entertainer is lost to us. This one more noted for quick feet than quick wit.

Gregory Hines passed away Saturday, August 9th.

It looks as if more and more of the true entertainers are leaving us. All I can say is, Bob Hope must be putting together one heck of a show.

May its run be long so those of us who remember can catch the matinee when the time comes.
