Shortly after the arrival of NG2, the younger clan was over at the house for a visit. After an exhausting and (late) rowdy fun time, NG1 sat with me on the recliner. He already had his bath and decided he wanted to park with me for his bed-time snack. Enjoying the snack didn't last long.
He nodded off in the middle of it. AND...since I was already captive, I was graced with a slightly fussy NG2 so everyone else could take care of other business. NG2 didn't last long either. It was such a good photo-op, NG1 slowly giving up the ghost during snack, fading, fading, gone...that the camera had been put into use several times, hence it was handy.
So, when everyone was caught up with the clean-up/restore work around the house (after meal/tub/horse play), they had to catch this shot.
"Help! I'm being held captive by a couple sleeping Hobbits."
Adorable happens.
