We were babysitting the GK's last weekend. NG1 & 2 were in a good mood and great fun was being had.

CK was over with the kids (NG1 & NG2) the other day. NG2 is kind of a giggle-box, despite his short age, and CK was getting him to LAUGH like nobodies business.  She would squish his cheeks and he would laugh like crazy. I tried, unsuccessfully, to get a picture of him in full laugh (cell phone takes fair pics and is a lot handier than the cam...it also has a slight delay from the time you hit the button till it decides to take the pic so getting "the shot" isn't easy).

Dudette had some nasty cold type crud a couple weeks back.  And her voice got really LOW (think Lauren Bacall).  But she got over it.

SITTING IS A PAIN

I know, sounds weird, but it's not.  I've been not here not just from being busy (not bad, but yep, busy), but from a nagging bout with sciatica.  If I sit for more than a couple minutes, pain shoots down my leg and it cramps up badly.  It is getting better though (obviously as I'm getting this posted).

Gimme another week or so and I should be back up to speed.

Pain happens. 

BROTHERS IN ARMS, MY ARMS

Shortly after the arrival of NG2, the younger clan was over at the house for a visit.  After an exhausting and (late) rowdy fun time, NG1 sat with me on the recliner.  He already had his bath and decided he wanted to park with me for his bed-time snack.  Enjoying the snack didn't last long.

CK, NG1, Dudette, and the IL's went to the Zoo a couple weeks back.  The idea was to get a glimpse of the new baby penguins.
